Spring Trends: Pastels

Spring is around the corner and there are a lot of new trends hitting the runway. One that I've been interested in is pastels. And since I wear a lot of blacks and grays and neutrals I thought pastel would be a good way to inject more color into my wardrobe without having to resort to something too shocking for me, like neon. So I've put together two outfits, one for a casual shopping day and one for a night out/party.
     

Outfit 1 - Casual

I think this outfit is casual enough, but adds a bit of flair with the turquoise shit and the white jeans, which I think are totally unexpected. The shoes add another bit of pastel in there, along with the bag which complements them and the necklace which could act like a choker underneath the collar of the shirt, these three things complement each other perfectly and the bracelet gives a boho, casual feel to the look. 

Outfit 2 - Party

This outfit is a bit more on the daring side, you don't usually mix pastel with black, in this case, the shirt and the skirt show off the pastel side of the outfit, it could be a day look but adding the black leather jacket and the black heels give it a night time party look, instantly changing it to a night look.
